THE Media is looking for a producer to lead the creation of daily video and audio content for a regional college football show. As a producer, you will edit live and recorded content for streaming on YouTube and on-demand podcast platforms. You will work closely with on-air talent to create a compelling daily show while helping grow the show’s social branding. This independent contractor position is open to applicants in the Columbus, Ohio area. However, remote work applicants will also be considered.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce, edit and promote a daily YouTube show and podcast on college football year-round

• Assist in booking guests and creating segments for daily show

• Engage in editing and production of other company long-form and daily podcast content as time permits

• Lead technical execution of live remote broadcasts

• Promote the show on all social media with clips and other ways to engage an audience

• Work with talent on structure and content of daily show, with occasional on-air opportunities possible
 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

• Familairity with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other software for high-end video and audio production

• Experience in YouTube/podcast production and editing

• Flexible schedule (weekend hours required during football season)

• Creativity/technical proficiency to create eye-catching graphics and social media content
