Job Description:

WABC-TV, Eyewitness News, seeks a creative digital content producer who loves to create video and has a passion for social media.  Part of this position involves leading our digital and social efforts on the weekend. This producer must thrive in a high-energy, nonstop news environment to help us excel on breaking news and create compelling content that our users will want to share.
 
Some of the specific duties include managing breaking news and other content on abc7ny.com, creating original videos, directing live coverage, optimizing content for more reach and impact, and helping to manage our social media presence and engage our audience.
 
The producer must have experience working in a newsroom, and have strong news judgment, solid video production skills (such as Adobe Premiere), be an excellent communicator and stay on top of best practices for digital and social media. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver consistently strong content across all platforms to ensure Eyewitness News always goes above and beyond to be New York's No. 1 source of news.
