The Wyoming Tribune Eagle is looking for a skilled law enforcement and courts reporter to join our award-winning news team any time after Jan. 29.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in, and preferably some experience covering police and court news, as well as a willingness to pitch in and cover stories from other beats as they cross over. The ideal candidate will also have a hunger to tell large-scale stories that include visual and digital components, as well as personal stories.
Located in the state capital of Cheyenne, the Tribune Eagle and its website, WyomingNews.com, provide daily news coverage of the southeast corner of the state. This beat includes: local, state and federal court systems; three main law enforcement agencies; a county jail; state prison issues and much more.
Cheyenne residents enjoy easy access to the entire Colorado Front Range area, as well as many outdoor recreation opportunities in both Wyoming and Colorado. We are located 90 minutes from both Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park.
