Job Description:

WABC is looking for a highly skilled motion graphics designer to work on various television news specials as well as streaming content and the Live with Kelly and Ryan show. Qualifications sought include the ability to: (1) design logos and animate them using 3D programs such as Cinema 4D; (2) create a whole graphics package for a show; (3) work in a fast paced news environment; (4) understand and create news production animations and (5) work collaboratively and take direction. 

Daily Hire is an employee hired to work on a daily basis with no requirement of a regular schedule.

Responsibility and Duties of the Role:

• Promos/Marketing design and animation

• Live Kelly and Ryan design and animation

• Special Programming/Multi Streaming Content design and animation

• Eyewitness News Special/Production Diagram Animation

• Social Media Promo Asset Creation

Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:

• 7 years or more industry experience, college degree in design or equivalent experience.

• After Effects, C4D and Photoshop and strong understanding of Adobe Illustrator.

• Automated template construction knowledge and experience.

• A strong sense of layout, typography and composition for all media created.

• Exceptional visual effects abilities and concept development for creating daily animations, supporting promotions, programming and news.

• News production/ diagram animation skills

• Daily News background experience

• Very effective communication and organizational skills.
