WABC-TV, New York’s #1 station, seeks a Creative Services Multimedia Marketing Producer.  We’re looking for a hard-working, highly gifted producer who shoots, edits, and writes promo copy that pops off the page.

You’ll work alongside a team of producers in our Creative Services department, which functions as an in-house advertising agency, to produce engaging marketing content for Eyewitness News, the #1 local news station in the nation, and for ABC7 New York programming on our linear, digital, and streaming platforms.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conceptualize, shoot, produce, write, and edit high-end promos for local news and programming specials to drive tune-in and engagement

• Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, highly creative environment on miscellaneous projects while interfacing with various departments and stakeholders

•  Help ideate, strategize for, and craft consumer marketing content that aligns with the brands and business objectives of WABC, OTV, and Disney

Basic REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Creative Services, Promotions, Audience Development, Advertising, Marketing, Digital Media, Production, or a similar field

• Experience working in a news environment

• Superior skills in editing (e.g., Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and shooting (e.g., DSLR, C300, FX9)

• The ability to use lighting equipment is preferred

•  Versatility to write all manner of memorable copy that is crisp, clear, and concise with a unique voice

• A professional, positive attitude; an exacting attention to detail; an understanding of how to sell, market, and promote; and the confidence to take the initiative without supervision

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Bachelor’s Degree

• The pay rate for this union role in New York is $120,000 to $140,000 per year.
