The Times Record, a daily newspaper in the beautiful college town of Brunswick, Maine, has an opening for a full-time web editor to reinvigorate its online presence. The web editor will curate an interactive environment that promotes reader engagement, boost trending stories, and leverage social media.

The Web Editor will also be involved with copy editing, headline writing and some breaking news reporting.

We are seeking a digital journalist with the following:

• Familiarity with WordPress, Hootsuite, social media platforms
• Strong understanding of analytics who can use them effectively to create interactive charts and other data visualizations,
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Proficient in AP style
