Reuters is seeking a Deputy Digital News Director for its growing digital operation. This key position will help build Reuters’ digital audience across multiple platforms and lead an experienced and international group of editors and social media producers.
The ideal candidate must be a problem solver, have strong news judgment, an international perspective, an eye for creative digital/social presentation, as well as a thorough understanding of audience behaviours and needs.

About the Role
As our Deputy Digital News Director, you will:
Build Reuters’ digital audience across multiple platforms
Lead an experienced and international group of editors and social media producers.
Oversee and improve our existing newsletter portfolio and grow the subscriber base
Collaborate with news editors, product, technology, marketing and sales teams to grow our global newsletter and digital offerings
To be our Deputy Digital News Director, you will likely have:
Strong news judgement and an international perspective
An eye for creative digital/social presentation
Thorough understanding of audience behaviours and needs
A proven record of curating, writing and editing newsletters is a must
Prior experience working with ARC, Eloqua, Chartbeat or similar tools is a plus
