WRAL News is seeking an engaging, multi-tasking Multi-Media Journalist. This individual must be skilled in using the latest creative storytelling tools and techniques to craft, shoot, and edit their original content. As an MMJ, the individual must generate local story ideas daily; conduct compelling interviews; and creatively produce television reports in a clear, imaginative manner.
The individual must have strong writing abilities, solid news judgment and a strong sense of visual storytelling. The ideal candidate uses multiple cameras and photography enhancement tools. This person must be social media savvy and utilize all platforms to gather information and generate audience attention. Requirements include at least two years of previous experience reporting in local television news and a four-year college degree.
