Applications are invited for a tenure track assistant professor position to begin August 15, 2018. We seek a talented colleague with professional expertise in Integrated Marketing Communication to teach introductory and lab-based courses in public relations, advertising, IMC. Ability to teach digital storytelling for promotions, social media engagement, and media analytics is highly desirable.
Qualifications: For tenure-track consideration, candidates should have an earned doctorate in mass communication/related areas. A terminal master’s degree (e.g. MFA) with substantial professional experience in marketing communication/public relations will be considered. ABDs who meet position qualifications will be considered for initial appointment at instructor rank and expected to complete the doctorate within a year.
