TBD, WJLA/NewsChannel8’s local news site is looking for experienced sports reporters who can write with authority on the Washington region’s professional and college teams. Candidates should be self –starters, and must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and file multiple times per day. Reporters will be expected to shoot video and stills, and then occasionally sit in a television studio and speak with great polish about it all while promoting the content on Twitter, Facebook, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates must have reporting experience, preferably on a beat, proven ability to develop sources, and experience writing for the Web.
